2022 Gevrey Chambertin Evocelles

The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Evocelles marks a return to the range of this hillside cuvée, where yields were finally sufficient to permit bottling it apart for the first time since 2018. Mingling notes of dark berries and plums with incense, vine smoke and spices, it's medium to full-bodied, bright and fleshy, with a sweet core of fruit and a racy spine of acidity, concluding with a mineral finish.
