This difficult vintage does not live up to the high standards set by this wine in 2012. The 2014 Alto Adige Valle Isarco Müller Thurgau Sass Rigais is slightly thin and watery in terms of consistency although the bouquet is nicely fragrant. It offers tones of stone fruit, honey, apricot and crushed white stone.

The 2014 Müller Thurgau Sass Rigais is an attractive, open-knit wine ideal for drinking over the next few years. Baked apple, pear, spice, hazelnut and dried flowers flesh out in this pretty, gracious wine. The slightly off-dry finish is quite attractive.
