The 2007 Iugum (80% Merlot and 20% and Cabernet Sauvignon) is beautiful. Plums, dark red fruit, flowers, minerals and spices are nicely balanced in this gorgeous, voluptuous wine. A burst of fruit informs the expressive finish. The 2007 is one of the most complete, harmonious vintages of Iugum I can remember tasting.
