Note di degustazione
The 2017 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru (Maison Louis Jadot) unfurls in the glass with aromas of dark wild berries, dark chocolate, incense, grilled game and forest floor. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with a generous core of sapid fruit that cloaks its ripe tannins.

The 2017 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru has a mélange of red and black fruit on the nose; the oak is neatly integrated, and hints of melted tar and truffle develop with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine bead of acidity and a pleasant edginess toward the brittle finish, though at the moment the Charmes-Chambertin displays a tad more substance.

Informazioni sul produttore

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
