The 2021 Chardonnay Bentrock opens with flinty aromas that complement a core of perfumed quince, mushrooms, roasted almonds and dried hay. The medium-bodied palate has a highly concentrated core of savory fruit, a luxuriously satiny texture and a spine of fresh acidity that calls you back to the glass. Complex and elegant, it will be long lived in bottle.

The 2021 Chardonnay Bentrock is pure class. Crushed rocks, mint, white pepper, citrus peel and dried herbs all grace this super-expressive Chardonnay. A hint of reduction lingers, but it is a strand in the wine's fabric and not overpowering. The aromatics here are especially wild, in a good way. A very good way.
