2014 Fixin Les Arvelets

Full red with ruby tones. Perfumed aromas of iron and spices. Juicy and energetic, conveying distinct red soil notes of plum, iron and tobacco. Nicely savory, fine-grained wine with good balance and a firm spine of ripe acids and tannins. There's an almost Syrah-like wildness to this wine's spice element.

Deep crimson. Like Les Crais, very inviting and bright cherry fruit with an attractive dusty quality on the nose. Really fine-boned tannins that contribute to excellent freshness. Impressively drinkable and elegant. Not full-bodied but extremely well balanced. (JH)
