2023 Marsannay Est-Ouest (La Combe du Pre)

The 2023 Marsannay Est-Ouest comes from two parcels with different orientations, as the name suggests. This is well-defined and fresh on the nose, with hints of brambly red berry fruit and hints of blue fruit that emerge with time. The palate is medium-bodied with very pliant tannins. There is a fluidity about this Marsannay. It's not powerful, yet there is some delicious black fruit toward the finish. This is excellent.
