2023 Domaine du Mont Epin Macon-Peronne-L'Etoile

The 2023 Mâcon-Péronne L'Etoile was a bit of a star when I tasted it last year, no pun intended. This seems to have gone into its shell a little in the last 12 months, though the limestone soils still shine and impart an attractive mineralité . The palate is fresh and vibrant with crisp acidity, somewhat oilier in texture than I recall but still with that long and tender finish. Very fine.
