Note di degustazione
The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru delivers aromas of rose petals, sweet red berries and cinnamon, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and succulent palate, concluding with a floral finish. Cherbaudes, which is sometimes included in this blend, is likely to be bottled separately this year.

From two parcels of vines in Bel Air and Petite Chapelle. 100% whole clusters. No new oak. Cask sample. Mid ruby. Floral, rich cherry and strawberry fruit. Solid fruit on the palate. Rich texture and crisp acidity with some firm tannins on the finish. (MH)
The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru comes from three parcels and is done with 100% whole bunch with the central stem removed. This has a heavenly bouquet with intense red berry fruit, crushed stone and forest floor scents. There is real energy here. The palate is well balanced with a silky-smooth entry, tart red berry fruit and a dash of white pepper and allspice toward the finish. Excellent.
