The 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Bousselottes 1er Cru was showing quite a bit of reduction on the nose when I tasted it from barrel. The palate is candied on the entry with licorice-tinged red fruit. Again, this is a little chocolatey toward the finish, possibly due to some oak influence. Though I tasted it from three barrels, it was difficult to get a read on this cuvée, so I will seek to revisit it later.
