The 2023 Bourgogne Aligoté, one-third matured in wood tank and two-thirds in stainless steel, has fine presence on the nose and gets both hands on the variety. The palate is well balanced with lime and lemon thyme notes alongside an endearing, slightly honeyed texture countered by sufficient tension on the finish. This is a delightful Aligoté from Jean-Marc Roulot that wears its heart on its sleeve.
