2023 Gevrey Chambertin Clos Prieur

The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Prieur 1er Cru has an intense bouquet with more black fruit than to the Au Closeau or Craipillot, and also more presence and depth. The palate is medium-bodied with a creamy texture. It is slightly richer and more opulent in style, though it retains balance with touches of white pepper and clove toward the finish. Excellent.
