2023 Pouilly Fuisse

The 2023 Pouilly-Fuissé is the flagship cuvée from the estate and comes from 12 of the 19 hectares of vine. This has a very pure bouquet, quite perfumed with yellow plum and light lanolin aromas. It is a "sunny" nose. The palate is well balanced with a touch of reduction, just a patina of wood to be subsumed. A little creaminess on the finish from the 10% new oak—simpatico with the concentration. Give this six to eight months in bottle.
