The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Village is also a strong effort, revealing aromas of sweet red berries, orange zest and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and powdery wine with a saline finish. It's the usual blend of Réas and Rivière.

Cask sample. Mid ruby. Elegant, perfumed nose of red cherry and strawberry. Moderately high, fresh acidity and some firm but powdery tannins. Refined and elegant. (MH)
The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Village, taken from tank, is more reticent and backward on the nose, demanding coaxing from the glass. It offers darker fruit than the Fixins and is a touch tertiary in style. The medium-bodied palate features fine tannins and seductive dark berry fruit mixed with white pepper and a hint of cola. Very refined and persistent, this is a classy Vosne Village.
