2023 Chambolle Musigny Les Charmes

The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes 1er Cru has a lively, vibrant, well-defined bouquet with black cherry, raspberry and light herbaceous scents. It will need time in bottle to really gel. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly lactic entry, with hints of dark chocolate infusing the red fruit. It's silky smooth on the finish with perhaps just a soupçon of fig. It leans slightly toward a more exotic style but is still attractive.
