Note di degustazione
Very deep garnet colored, the 2009 Ancient Way Vineyard Deep Time was in barrel for 60 months and has a pronounced, provocatively scented nose of Christmas cake, plum pudding, Indian spices and incense with suggestions of cardamom, eucalyptus, mocha and peppered salami. Big, rich and full-bodied, the velvety textured palate is bursting with black berry preserves, raisin cake and exotic spices with a refreshing lift on the very long finish.

Dark purple. Deeply pitched black and blue fruit compote, singed plum, cola and mocha scents are complemented by notes of violet pastille and licorice. Broad, palate-coating blackberry liqueur and fruitcake flavors show striking depth and a plush, velvety texture. Decadently rich but surprisingly lively, finishing with superb power and thrust and smooth, late-arriving tannins.
