2015 Domaine du Mont Epin Macon-Peronne-L'Etoile

The 2015 Mâcon-Péronne L'Etoile is a 0.8-hectare lieu-dit within the vineyard that is a little steeper and ripens a touch later than the rest of the vineyard. There is a tad more concentration on the nose compared to the regular Mâcon-Péronne with just a hint of white flowers and lemon curd. The palate is well balanced with a saline entry. There is clearly fine depth in the mouth with a touch of spice toward the finish. Give this a year in bottle before broaching, as I believe it has more to give.
