2022 Epilogue

The 2022 Epilogue was 60% whole-bunch-fermented, with 40% matured in new 400-liter French oak and the remainder in concrete vats. This shrugs off a small reduction to offer raspberry, briar, white pepper and subtle garrigue scents that are beautifully defined. The palate is medium-bodied with (again) fine-boned tannins, wonderful tension and poise, the new oak neatly integrated and imparting a satin-like texture toward the finish. The aftertaste feels long with white pepper tingling in the mouth. Outstanding.
