This too is fresh, bright and ripe with its array of various red berries, plum and a whiff of earth. The caressing and succulent middleweight flavors also display an attractive vibrancy that carries over to the youthfully austere and softly rustic finale that is inviting and balanced. Already bottled, the 2022 Fixin Les Crais derives from stony, alluvial soils that always produce a charming, demonstrative style of wine, and that's the case this year. Offering up aromas of sweet cherries, berries and plums mingled with orange zest and petals, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and perfumed, with a suave, succulent profile that belies its aging potential.
Mid ruby. Bright nose of flowers and red fruits – currants, cherries and raspberry. Fine, racy acidity with balance, moderate tannins. Lovely for early drinking. Open, fresh and clean. (MH)
