Note di degustazione
The 2022 Daugay offers up attractive aromas of cherries, minty berries and plums, followed by a medium-bodied, soft and supple palate that's giving, pure and open-knit. As it is when it's at its best, this is an attractive, bistro-style wine that will drink well young.

The 2022 Daugay has a restrained nose with dark berry fruit and cola tones, but as I remarked from barrel, the wood tannins dominate and dry out the finish.
A perfumed and elegant St.-Emilion with spiced plums, citrus, hibiscus and minerals. Fine baking spices as well. Fresh and supple, this has medium body and dusty, polished tannins. Composed and nicely fluid on the center palate before a long but melted finish. 62% merlot, 34% cabernet franc and 4% cabernet sauvignon. Already attractive but can hold too.
I loved the 2022 Château Daugay, a ripe, medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated Saint-Emilion that reminds me slightly of the 2009. Red, blue, and black fruits as well as notes of chocolate and flowers define the aromatics, and it’s balanced, with a good sense of freshness and outstanding length.
