2023 Corton

Another highlight of Charles van Canneyt’s range, the fruit for this Corton comes from two plots – one in Corton Renardes and one in Corton Rognet. The 2023 is a typically powerful wine – full of brooding dark fruit. That firmness, however, is tempered by its juiciness and a bright twist of red-berry fruit, keeping things fresh. Broad, deep, yet light-on-its-feet, and amazingly approachable even now, with a long finish dusted with sweet spice.
