The 2020 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru has a glorious, expressive bouquet with well-defined blackberry, briary and crushed limestone aromas that soar from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins, taut and fresh, quite saline in the mouth with a very controlled, linear and saline finish, black olive and even a hint of anchovie on the aftertaste. Great persistence, but it will need time in bottle.
