Punteggio 17/20 · Da bere 2025-2032, Jancis Robinson MW, Apr 2025

Good energy here and quite a delicate touch. Refined, with solid chew on the end. (JR)

This is delicate and fragrant, revealing layers of crushed red berries, orange peel, fresh flowers and a hint of dried herbs. The medium-bodied palate is polished and refined, with racy acidity, firm, well-structured tannins and a fresh, lingering finish that highlights its finesse. Better from 2027.

Punteggio 97/100 · Da bere 2024-2039, Jeb Dunnuck, Aug 2024

The Bishop Creek was planted in the late 1980s or early ‘90s and was purchased by Jean-Nicolas and Jay in 2014. Pouring a ruby/magenta hue, the 2022 Pinot Noir Bishop Creek Vineyard is spicy in the glass, with notes of cherry lozenge, wild herbs, toasted spice, and violet flowers. Juicy and balanced on the palate, it’s generous but well-balanced, with ripe tannins, even acidity, and a clean, long finish. It is going to drink well over the next 15 or more years and will only improve and gain in umami richness as it ages.

Punteggio 94+/100 · Da bere 2026-2034, Eric Guido, Vinous, May 2024

The 2022 Pinot Noir Bishop Creek is a model of purity, wafting up with a beautiful display of rose petals, sweet lavender, cola and black cherries. This soothes with its round and giving nature, mixing tart wild berry fruits with savory spice and notes of sour citrus that add lovely contrast. It leaves a staining of primary concentration and well-contoured tannins, finishing with admirable length and edgy tannins that frame the experience well without slowing its momentum.
