There are three barrels of this wine in 2023, offering aromas of chalk, white peach and lemon sherbet. There’s a rush of freshness on the lively palate, which is tight and full of energy, yet there’s an open peachy character too. The finish is long and zesty. They blocked the malolactic here, preserving the wine’s acid backbone.
