2023 Chardonnay Reserve

The 2023 Chardonnay Reserve comes from two south-facing parcels that tend to mature at different rates and require three or four passes through the vines. It is matured in French oak, of which 20% is new, with 20% undergoing full malo for 11 months plus five months as a blend. It has a bright and focused bouquet that leaps from the glass, showing a little more mineralité than the '20 Divas poured beforehand. The palate is citrus fresh with orange rind and light stem ginger notes, real depth and tension in this Chardonnay, fanning out with assurance on the persistent finish. Excellent.
