2022 Domaine du Mont Epin Macon-Peronne-L'Etoile

The 2022 Mâcon-Péronne L'Etoile, named after the lieu-dit known for preserving freshness, is picked towards the end of the harvest and offers a harmonious nose. This has fine stoniness that comes through with aeration. The palate is where it really takes off with a twist of orange rind and citrus fruit, a resinous texture and then a very precise finish. What a wonderful Mâcon-Péronne. Highly recommended.
