Note di degustazione
The 2019 Bouscaut Blanc is a little reductive on the nose, green apple mixed with Williams pear and nuanced earthy scents. The palate is well-balanced with a slightly oaky entry, but that gradually integrates, peachy in style with a slightly facile, rather oaky finish. Tasted blind at the Southwold annual tasting.

The 2019 Château Bouscaut Blanc showed well, with a clean, classy nose of ripe Meyer lemons, honeyed white grapefruit, white flowers, and chalky, mineral nuances. Medium-bodied, soft, forward, and delicious, it's geared for drinking over the coming 2-3 years, although given its bright acidity, I wouldn't be surprised to see it evolve longer.
Bottled under Diam 10, the 2019 Bouscaut Blanc offers up aromas of lemongrass, sweet citrus fruits and pear, followed by a medium to full-bodied, delicately textural palate that's taut and tangy, with surprisingly firm acidity for the wine's evident ripeness and the style of the vintage.
