Note di degustazione
From the team of Thomas Duclos and a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc brought up in 50% new oak, the 2016 Château Croque Michotte reveals a deep purple color as well as loads of red and blue fruits, incense, dried flowers, and subtle background oak as well as some gravelly minerality that develops with time in the glass. Nicely textured, with a weightless, medium-bodied feel on the palate, it has upfront charm yet will keep for 10-15 years.

The 2016 Croque Michotte feels a little overripe on the nose, where touches of fig and prune suffuse the red fruit. The palate is very ripe and cloying, displaying notes of dates and canned prune and a rather saccharine finish. Not for me.
