The second wine of Amuse Bouche, the 2015 Vin Perdu is a blend of 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Petit Verdot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 13% Merlot. Medium garnet-purple colored, it has gregarious red and black cherries, mulberries and fresh black currants with nuances of wood smoke, pencil shavings and earth. The palate is medium to full-bodied with a firm frame of grainy tannins and great freshness supporting the generous black fruits, finishing long and earthy.

The 2015 Vin Perdu is terrific in this vintage. Succulent black cherry, plum, sweet tobacco and new leather infuse this soft, pliant Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend from Amuse Bouche. Vin Perdu is technically Amuse Bouche's second wine. In 2015, it punches well above its weight.
A blend of 46% Cabernet Franc, 23% Petit Verdot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot, the 2015 Vin Perdu is another elegant, charming wine from winemaker Heidi Barrett. Black cherries, leafy herbs, and dried flowers notes all emerge from this medium-bodied, elegant and silky red. It's already hard to resist, yet has some light, building tannin suggesting it's going to evolve nicely.
