Note di degustazione
The 2019 Château Peymouton is a charming, classic Saint-Emilion offering outstanding darker cherry and mulberry fruits as well as subtle notes of leather, earth, and dried herbs. Nicely balanced, medium-bodied, and elegant, it's a fine, classic, thoroughly enjoyable 2019 to enjoy over the coming 10-15 years.

Produced from leased and as yet unclassified vineyards by the winemaking team of Château Laroque, the 2019 Peymouton exhibits aromas of rich plummy fruit, followed by a medium-bodied palate with rather baked fruit flavors and surprisingly prominent acidity. I suspect it's something of a work in progress.
The 2019 Peymouton has an attractive bouquet of raspberry coulis and wild strawberry scents, quite bold and vocal and showing fine definition. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly coarse tannins, but there is good weight, and the sturdy finish suggests a couple of years in bottle will do it no harm.
The 2019 Peymouton is a soft, fruity Saint-Émilion to drink now and over the next few years, while the red berry fruit remains vibrant. This charming Saint-Émilion has much to offer in an immediate, up-front style that is quite attractive.
