The 2018 Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva Senes' bouquet is beautiful: vivid wild blueberries, violets, sweet smoke and stone dust. This soothes with its silky textures as a wave of mineral-tinged red and black fruits swirl throughout, all guided by vibrant acidity. It finishes long and lightly structured, leaving suggestions of red licorice and a slight balsamic tinge that curls the tongue. The Senes Riserva is really quite special in 2018.
