2018 Morey St Denis Clos Solon

The 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos Solon is de-stemmed with no new oak. It has a light minty bouquet that just needs a little more cohesion and intensity – perhaps a little fermé with the second winter in barrel. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, feisty red cherry and strawberry fruit and sage and white pepper toward the finish. Pleasant, early-drinking Morey.
