Note di degustazione
Plenty of grip, honeysuckle and saffron with creamy citrus fruit, savoury almond, white pear. This is restrained at almost four years old, more so than it was when just in bottle, with an attractive slate texture and mouthwatering finish. A yield of 42hl/ha, 40% new oak.

The 2018 Bouscaut Blanc has quite an open bouquet that frankly feels a little more mature than it should, offering scents of dried honey and Golden Delicious apple, and later orange pith and grilled hazelnut. The palate is balanced, featuring orange zest, nectarine and yellow plum. It feels slightly waxy in texture, but it misses a little tension on the finish. As such I would drink this sooner than later.
Lots of ripe pineapple, quince, and lemon-laced notes emerge from the 2018 Château Bouscaut Blanc, which is nicely textured, medium-bodied, and balanced. Drink this soft, nicely textured, yet still lively white over the coming 3-4 years.
