Note di degustazione
A step back from past vintages, the 2019 Château Haut-Bergey Blanc has a richer, softer, more one-dimensional style that still brings plenty of ripe peach, orange, and honeyed aromas and flavors. Drink it over the coming couple of years.

The 2019 Haut Bergey Blanc is showing nicely from bottle, wafting from the glass aromas of honeyed peaches, gooseberries, yellow orchard fruit and a touch of smoky reduction. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, it's a rich and textural wine, with a sweet core of fruit and an unctuous, layered profile, concluding with a lively finish. It was bottled under Diam 10.
The 2019 Haut-Bergey Blanc has a light, rather innocuous bouquet revealing touches of lemon curd and and lemon thyme, pleasant if missing some intensity. The palate is fresh on the entry with a twist of bitter lemon, and very simple and primal, a bit like the nose. A dry white Bordeaux that just seems bereft of much to say.
Informazioni sul produttore

Since Paul Garcin took over running this estate in 2014, it has become one of Pessac-Léognan’s most exciting addresses. Biodynamic and with a minimalist approach, Ch. Haut-Bergey makes pure and expressive wines that offer both great value and a taste of the modern Bordeaux.
