Note di degustazione
Bright, deep red-ruby. Sappy blackberry and smoked meat on the nose. Tightly wound and more serious than the Millandes, with very good intensity to the dark fruit and spice flavors. Finishes with firm tannic structure and very good persistence. These 2004s were bottled in January of 2006. (A second bottle showed less flesh and some spearmint and peppery nuances, but its juiciness and sweet tannins merited 88 points.)

Good deep red. Discreet, pure nose hints at cherry syrup and red plum. Dry, tightly wound and pure, with a chalky minerality giving focus and energy to the wine's bright flavors. A distinctly precise, hillside style, finishing brisk and persistent. Quite different in style from the chunkier 2003.
