Note di degustazione
Crushed citrus, white flowers, oyster shell, and some obvious minerality emerge from the 2017 Montagny 1er Cru. It’s medium-bodied, clean, crisp, and pure on the palate, with a juicy, delicious style. It’s also going to evolve nicely.

Wafting from the glass with notes of crisp green orchard fruit, dried white flowers and wheat toast, the 2017 Montagny 1er Cru is medium to full-bodied, broad and fleshy, with a generously textural attack, a rich mid-palate and an expansive finish. This is a ripe, fruit-forward iteration of Boillot's Montagny, and it will turn heads in its youth.
The 2017 Montagny 1er Cru has a finely detailed bouquet of crushed gravel mixed with sea spray and light apple blossom aromas. The well-balanced palate is fresh on the entry, delivering crisp acidity and quince and subtle caramelized pear notes, leading to a peppery finish. Enjoy this over the next decade. A fine Montagny.
Pale, green-tinged yellow. Lively aromas of lime leaf and fresh herbs. Then surprisingly supple and easygoing in the mouth, but with good lemon-lime energy and floral lift. Reasonably concentrated wine with a slight finishing warmth.
