NV Francis Boulard Brut Nature Petraea Mmvii

All Pinot Noir, vinified in foudre, the NV Champagne Blanc De Noirs Petraea Brut Nature has a deeper yellow hue but remains bright. The fifth release of this cuvée, the nose is more savory but still fresh and would be so good with mushrooms and morels. As it opens, it has notes of fresh toasted bread, which accent the beautiful spice accents and are mouthwatering and long, while the palate is more citrus and mineral-driven. The palate is savory and long, with hints of porcini and red fruit, and it has good intensity, length, and depth. Drink 2025-2045. Disgorged in October 2024.
