2021 Napa Valley Chardonnay

Duckhorn's 2021 Chardonnay is pretty mainstream Napa Chardonnay, but well done. Primarily barrel fermented and matured in 40% new French oak—10% of the blend was made and matured in tank—the wine offers up attractive scents of white peaches, ripe pineapple, some citrus-custard notes and hints of scorched sugar. It's medium to full-bodied and silky textured across the palate, showing a bit of wood on the finish.
