Black cherries, scorched earth, asphalt, and some spicy oak notes all emerge from the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon, a medium-bodied, round, enjoyable Cabernet Sauvignon made in a slightly oaky, rustic style.

Slightly odd, Merlot-like notes of tomato join black cherries, cassis and cedar on the nose of the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon (the wine does contain 7% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc). It's medium to full-bodied, with a generally ripe, silky feel until the finish, where a touch of rusticity adds a tough edge.
