From the Tenuta Monte Pietroso, the Cusumano 2023 Sicilia Grillo Shamaris is a warm-vintage interpretation with a glossy texture and thick aromas of preserved lemon, honey and peached pear. This 100% Grillo is aged in stainless steel for five quick months. This vineyard site is found in the hills of Monreale at 400 meters above sea level. Production is 40,000 bottles.

The 2023 Shamaris wafts up with a sweetly scented blend of tropical melon, minty herbs and wet stone. It's soft and round, with ripe orchard fruits and pretty inner florals that amass above a core of juicy acidity. The 2023 tapers off with a crunchy sensation as hints of lime zest taper off gradually.
