2017 Franciacorta Saten

The 2017 Satén Vintage Collection pulls me close to the glass to take in its dusty floral perfumes, hints of young peach and freshly sliced vanilla bean. This is silky and round on the palate, soothing with its gently caressing bubbles. Saline minerals and tart orchard fruits add tension toward the close. The 2017 leaves the palate completely refreshed as hints of nectarine and gingery spice slowly fade. (Lot# 21281D01 Disgorged Autumn 2021)
