Note di degustazione
Awesome notes of buttered citrus, toasted spice, brioche, toasted almonds, and white flowers all emerge from 2022 White Cuvee, a rich, full-bodied white based on 35% Chardonnay, 28% Roussanne, 21% Marsanne, and the rest Viognier. With that classic Andremily richness and breadth, it stays flawlessly balanced, has good acidity, and a great finish. It’s a stunning white that readers should snatch up. I love it today, yet it should have 4-6 years of prime drinking, possibly longer. But why wait?

Tasted a few weeks before its mid-August bottling, the 2022 White Cuvée combines 35% Chardonnay, 28% Roussanne, 21% Marsanne and 16% Viognier that spent 21 months in 50% new French barriques. The nose is simultaneously sappy, resinous and creamy, clearly dominated by its new oak élevage. The texture is pleasing and simply delicious, with an expectedly plush, full-bodied power that retains impressive focus. The finish echoes this linear precision, concluding on a rich but harmonious note. I look forward to revisiting this after some time in bottle to see if the oak integrates further.
