Lots of stoney mineral on the nose with floral and pear notes. Medium-bodied palate, where bright apple and pear fruit takes the reins and drives through to a long, focused finish. Really like the intensity here. Delicious. Drink now.

Zippy, tight and tonic, the Cantina Kaltern 2020 Alto Adige Sauvignon is very true to the grape. The wine offers slightly green overtones of lime, tomato leaf and fresh kiwi that enhance a fresh and lifted bouquet. The wine is simple and streamlined, but those pointed varietal aromas really do pop from the glass with extra intensity in this balanced and satisfying vintage of 140,000 bottles. It's a good friend to a Caprese salad with extra mozzarella.
