Note di degustazione
The 2018 Saint-Véran Bois de Fée has turned out very well, mingling aromas of peach, apricot and mandarin with notions of freshly baked bread, beeswax and honeycomb. Medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with racy acids and a long, chalky finish, it derives from a parcel planted with both old and young vines.

The 2018 Saint-Véran Bois de Fée comes from limestone (entroque) soils located on steep slopes, a mixture of young and old vines. There is fine tension on the nose, nicely focused with touches of yellow fruit and verbena. The palate is well-balanced with a fine bead of acidity, a little spicier than Thibert's other Saint-Véran with quite a lingering lemongrass finish. Drinking perfectly now, but this should continue to age nicely in bottle.
