2022 Flor de Vetus

They reduced the maceration and extraction in the warm 2022 vintage, especially for the 2022 Flor de Vetus, the entry-level red, to make it more approachable. They also shortened the time in barrel by two months. The fruit profile is darker than in the wines from Villacreces in Ribera del Duero. Composed of Tempranillo with 5% Garnacha, it has 14.3% alcohol and a balanced mouthfeel, making it medium-bodied with a fluid texture. 89,521 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2024.
