Note di degustazione
The 2021 Chambertin Grand Cru, from vines planted in 1954, has quite a floral bouquet, incense and potpourri, dark berry fruit, a hint of dark chocolate. This blossoms in the glass compared to the Clos-de-Bèze. The palate is medium-bodied with a very sweet entry, plush and quite candied in style, gentle grip with a pastille like finish. Moderate length.

Aromas of dark berries, orange zest, spices and petals introduce the 2021 Chambertin Grand Cru, a medium to full-bodied, lively wine that's seamless and integrated, framed by soft, powdery tannins.
Informazioni sul produttore

Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, this domaine has a long history and impressive vineyards (with over five hectares of Grand Cru), but has long been considered an under-performer. Today, however, the Bouygues brothers (of Montrose and Clos Rougeard) have taken ownership and change is afoot.
