Even better and all Merlot, the 2022 Château Lafont-Fourcat A Nos Amours is a smoking little gem of a wine that has ripe black cherries, spicy wood, and truffly notes in a rich, medium to full-bodied, textured style. It's going to be a smoking value.

The 2022 à Nos Amours is 100% Merlot matured in new oak. It has a lush bouquet with black cherry, violet and light dark chocolate scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a powerful black fruit tone, low acidity and a hedonistic finish. If that's your bag, you will like this.
This is powerful, clear grilled coffee bean, cocoa dusted, impressive and silky, high alcohol with a flash of heat, but manages suave tannins, a ton of intense fruit, high impact at a good value price. 100% new oak, 7ha estate.
Deeply colored, the wine is loaded with lush, dark supple-textured, creamy, black and red fruits. There is a nice depth of flavor, and ample layers of dark red fruits, chocolate and licorice, with a spicy influence that comes in on the backend of the finish. Not much of this wine is produced. But, if you see it grab it. It sells for a song for a wine at this level of quality. Produced from 100% Merlot. Drink from 2025-2038.. 92-94 Pts.
