75% Merlot, 15% Petit Verdot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. 20% new oak for 12 months. Mid cherry red. Scented black fruits and just a hint of violets. Firm, juicy and with better balance of freshness and fruit than some 2015s. Still quite chewy but getting there. (JH)

My money is on the 2016 Château Fourcas-Borie being the wine of the vintage in Listrac, It’s rare to find a Listrac with this level of depth and richness. Smoking notes of blackcurrants, black cherries, and graphite all emerge from this medium-bodied effort that has terrific mid-palate concentration, ripe tannins, and a brilliant finish. Want to taste the best from Listrac? Buy this wine.
A tight and juicy red with rust, black-fruit and iron character. Full-bodied, tight and focused and very beautiful. So delicious already. Drink in 2020.
Dark cherry, plum, mocha, licorice and sweet spices are pushed forward in the 2015 Fourcas-Borie. This fleshy, pliant Listrac from Bruno Borie will drink well upon release and for several years thereafter. Beginning with the 2015 vintage, Fourcas-Borie is now a Cru Bourgeois.
