1998 Clos St Denis

The ruby-colored 1998 Clos St. Denis Reserve reveals an oaky, smoked bacon-scented nose. Medium to full-bodied, and opulently-textured, this is a dense, well-focused, spicy, sweet cherry syrup-flavored wine. Fresh and exceptionally long in the finish, it does not display any of the vintage's characteristic hardness. It is well-constituted and concentrated, and a delight to drink.
