Note di degustazione
The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Baudes bursts with aromas of cherries, grilled squab, dried flowers and toasty new oak. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and elegant, framed by succulent acids and powdery tannins. This is one of the finer-boned wines in the Sérafin cellar this year.

Deepish crimson. Spicy and intense aroma of dark-red fruit with a savoury spice that seems to come from the oak. Dry and chewy tannins. Pretty unapproachable and not really what I expect from Chambolle but should come round once the tannins step back. (JH)
This is ripe yet reasonably elegant with its aromas of poached plum, black raspberry, violet and soft spice whiffs. The sleeker and slightly finer medium-bodied flavors exhibit evident minerality on the austere, chewy and overtly powerful finish where subtle warmth emerges. This very firmly structured effort is impressively bold but once again, it will be pointless to open a bottle before 10 years of age.
